Symphony is conceived and is celebrated under the name, ‘Jamboree’.
Jamboree becomes Symphony. Tabla maestro, Ustad Zakir Hussain performs at the pro show.
Symphony is dubbed the ‘Best Festival in Mumbai’. Hariharan, Devaki Pandit, Fazal Qureshi, Taufiq Qureshi, Louis Banks, and Sultan Khan perform at the pro shows.
Symphony celebrated for 3 days for the first time, on occasion of the Silver Jubilee of K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering.
Symphony 2015 is graced by Sushant Singh Rajput and Anu Malik. Parvaah, the social initiative of the college, is conceived.
Symphony sees a record-shattering footfall of 15,000. Comedy heartthrob, Kenny Sebastian performs along with DJ Candice and indie band, Lagori.
Footfall reaches a new high of 18,000. Amit Trivedi Live, Biswa Kalyan Rath, and internationally acclaimed band, Raghu Dixit Project perform at the pro shows.

K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering is a nationally reputed engineering university located in the Somaiya Vidyanagari campus, Vidyavihar. Symphony
Symphony is the annual cultural festival of K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering and has grown in leaps and bounds ever since its initiation as Jamboree in 1987. It conducts various competitions in diverse fields such as art, dance, drama, music, etc. It has been a host to various celebrities and well-known artists such as Biswa Kalyan Rath, The Raghu Dixit Project, Amit Trivedi, Ustad Zakir Khan, The Local Train, Kenny Sebastian, etc. who have performed their sets in the PRO shows during Symphony. With the gradual changes that have occurred over the 31 editions of Symphony, it has transcended to an elaborate emotion in the heart rather than a mere festival!
